Privacy policy
Short version: no accounts, no ad trackers, and your commands stay in your browser.

This policy explains what MC Command Generator (“we”, “the site”) does with information when you use it. We built the site so it needs as little of your information as possible: you can use every generator without signing up or telling us who you are.
What stays in your browser
These are saved in your browser’s local storage on your device. They are never sent to our servers, and clearing your site data deletes them:
- your command library: commands you save and the history of commands you copy;
- your preferences, such as the edition and version you picked, the editor mode and light or dark theme.
Share links carry the command after the # in the address. Browsers don’t send that part to the server, so we never see what a share link contains. Anyone you give the link to can see it, though.
The AI assistant
When you ask the AI to fill a generator, we send the text you typed, the edition, the version and the generator you’re on to our server, which passes them to an AI model provider (currently Anthropic, possibly through an AI gateway) to write the answer. The provider processes the request under its own terms and privacy policy. We don’t store the text you type; our logs record only usage counts such as the model used and the number of tokens.
Please don’t type personal information into the AI box. It only needs a description of the command you want.
To keep the AI free and fair, each visitor gets a daily number of answers. We count them against a salted, one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself), and the counters are deleted automatically after two days. A short-lived in-memory limit also slows down bursts of requests from one address.
Hosting and server logs
The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address, browser user agent and the pages you request to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under the Cloudflare privacy policy. Fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page doesn’t contact Google or other font services.
Cookies, analytics and ads
We don’t show ads and don’t use third-party analytics or tracking. If that changes, we will update this page before it happens and describe what is collected. The only cookies we set are functional, and only when you use the feature that needs them: mcc_session (and mcc_oauth while signing in) keeps you signed in, and mcc_pro holds the random Pro key a Pro checkout creates, so the site knows this browser has Pro.
Pro payments
Pro payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe receives what you enter at checkout (such as your email address and card details) and your Pro key, under its own privacy policy. We never see your full card number. We keep your Pro key with its plan, status and renewal date so the site can unlock Pro.
If you email us at support@mccommand.net, we use your address and message only to reply and keep them as long as needed to handle your request. We never sell or share them.
Children
Many Minecraft players are young. The site doesn’t ask for names, emails or accounts, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and think your child sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you. Because the site keeps almost nothing that identifies you, there’s usually nothing for us to hand over, but you can always ask at support@mccommand.net. Data in your browser you can delete yourself from the library page or by clearing site data.
Changes
We will update this page when the site’s handling of information changes and change the date at the top. See also our terms of use.
