/clone Command Generator
BetaType the two corners of the build and where the copy should go. Choose whether air is copied, whether the original stays or moves, and the preview shows the copy flying over.

How it works
/clone takes two corners of a box (both included) and a destination. The destination is the lowest north-west corner of the copy, so the copy always grows towards +x, +y and +z from there, whichever order you typed the source corners in.
Java 1.13 and later
clone ~-4 ~ ~-4 ~4 ~6 ~4 ~12 ~ ~-4 masked clone 0 64 0 15 80 15 100 64 0 replace move clone 0 64 0 15 80 15 100 64 0 filtered minecraft:oak_log[axis=y] force
From Java 1.19.4 you can copy between dimensions, and from 1.21.5 strict places blocks without block updates:
clone from minecraft:overworld 0 64 0 15 80 15 to minecraft:the_nether 0 70 0 clone 0 64 0 15 80 15 100 64 0 strict masked
Java 1.8 to 1.12
The filtered form puts the clone mode before the block, and takes an optional numeric data value:
clone 0 64 0 15 80 15 100 64 0 filtered normal minecraft:wool 14
Bedrock
Same order as old Java for filtered, with Bedrock block states instead of data values. No dimensions, no strict.
clone ~-4 ~ ~-4 ~4 ~6 ~4 ~12 ~ ~-4 masked move clone 0 64 0 15 80 15 100 64 0 filtered normal oak_log ["pillar_axis"="y"]
Limits and overlap
Java copies up to 32,768 blocks at once (the commandModificationBlockLimit game rule from 1.19.4, max_block_modifications from 1.21.11). Bedrock allows 655,360. Both areas must be loaded. If the copy overlaps the source, normal and move fail: use force.
FAQ
What does masked mean in /clone?
Masked copies every block except air. Use it when the copy lands in a spot that already has blocks you want to keep, like pasting a tree into a forest.
How do I move a build instead of copying it?
Use the move clone mode. The blocks are copied and the source turns into air. With filtered, only the copied block type is removed from the source.
Why does /clone say the source and destination overlap?
The copy would land partly inside the original box. Normal and move refuse that; force allows it, but blocks copied early can be copied again, so check the result.
Can I clone between the Overworld and the Nether?
On Java 1.19.4 and later, yes: add from <dimension> before the source corners and to <dimension> before the destination. Bedrock can't.
How many blocks can /clone copy?
32,768 on Java by default (raise it with the game rule from 1.19.4) and 655,360 on Bedrock. Count both corners: 0 to 15 is 16 blocks.
